Case Management

Bringing it into the 21st century

Case management is rapidly moving from the periphery of information management to its very centre. Organisations are looking for better ways to ingest, sort, process and formally record case-related information and to collaborate on decision-making. This is partly because of stiffer compliance requirements and greater use of performance targets. It’s our opinion, however, that it’s also because new information management tools — collaboration environments, advanced business process orchestration and management software and pervasive, modular records management suites — are enabling fresh approaches to dealing with some very long-standing business problems.
