Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on a successful project on one of Fujitsu’s Major accounts. Following an extension of contract, Fujitsu are now contracted to provide to this customer until 2015.

Job purpose & responsibilities::

Working in a close-knit team, you will report to and be accountable to the Software Support Centre Manager.

Responsibilities will include diagnosing incidents reported by the customer, and establishing which part of the solution is the cause of the incident. You will be supporting bespoke applications running in approximately 200 servers and 30,000 workstations. In order to perform in this role successfully you will have the ability to function over a variety of different applications and operating system platforms in a third line support environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of application code support on large multi-platform systems and must demonstrate strong technical capability across a variety of platforms and applications. Such a candidate will also have a proven track record of dealing with customers of varied, and sometimes limited IT ability. Specific skills of interest are outlined below:
