24 September 2007 About a forthcoming event – ICL pensioners are welcome to attend.
The Content Addressable File Store (CAFS) was a unique ICL innovation – and was used for a variety of interesting applications. Hamish Carmichael is one of the best people in ICL to tell more about the applications, and associated stories. Hamish is the compiler of the ICL Anthology books that can be browsed on this website. The talk is a Computer Conservation Society event, at the Science Museum in London at 14.30 on Thursday 18th October 2007 – click here for details of the event and for more about CAFS. |
